He has recently been recognized as 'HR Leader of the Year 2023 Large Scale Organisations' by The Economic Times and India's Top 23 HR Influencers for 2023 by the HR Association of India. He is a proponent of bringing technology to HR processes while retaining human connections in the organization.

Deepak began his journey at Tata Steel as a Graduate Trainee in 1993 and has since held various key roles, showcasing his expertise in areas ranging from maintenance and project management to HR and business leadership. Noteworthy milestones include his tenure with TAS and his leadership roles in different divisions of Tata Steel, including IR and OD. His entrepreneurial spirit shines through in his current role as CEO of TSSSL, a startup specializing in staffing solutions. There, he is driving growth and expansion plans aligned with the broader Tata Steel Group vision. In addition to his professional pursuits, Deepak is actively involved in social initiatives, serving on the board of NDWML and as a trustee in the JEM Foundation Trust.

He is passionate about the Skill India mission and supports an NGO working in the field of Education for underprivileged children in India.

His diverse experiences include industries such as Automotive, Banking, and FMCG and HR functions like Change Management, Capability Development, and Workforce Rationalisation. After retirement, Sanjay has handled various consulting projects and now manages his own startup, Faciliquest Services, which serves global clients in organizational capability building.
