National HR Conference Through the Years

XLRI has been known as a pioneer in India's Human Resources and Industrial Relations field since its inception in 1949. Continuing its legacy, the 14th National HR Conference, hosted by SAPPHIRE on February 1st and 2nd, 2025 was an endeavor to bring together stalwarts from academia and industry to discuss the nuances of HR’s role in shaping the strategic arena for competitive, robust organizations. This prestigious national conference welcomed stalwarts from the industry in our panels. Our theme this year was ‘Beyond Compensation: Redefining Work in a Purpose-Driven Economy’. Organizations are evolving rapidly as purpose-driven strategies take center stage in reshaping work environments. Beyond traditional incentives, there is an urgent need to align work with employees' pursuit of fulfillment and well-being while driving organizational success. In this context, HR professionals play a crucial role in fostering meaningful engagement, redefining work-life harmony, and balancing business priorities with employee aspirations.
